Nicki Minaj stars in solo beauty ad for MAC Cosmetics - picture
Earlier this year, the rapper and Ricky Martin were named the new face of the brand's Viva Glam line, starring in the ad together.

The beauty company has now taken to its Twitter page to reveal Minaj's new advertisement, posting: "Going solo in 2013, @NICKIMINAJ's next Viva Glam Lipstick avail Feb. #BARBZ, you made it trend: #LAVENDERISTHENEWPINK."
In the new ad, Minaj is styled in a yellow one-piece while she lounges in the pool.
Minaj, who turns 30 today (December 8), recently released her second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which didn't receive a single nomination for the 2013 Grammy Awards.
The rapper's manager called Minaj's Grammy snub "bulls**t".
