Earlier this week, a video was leaked of a disturbing fight between new American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, which caused Minaj to blow up, and even threaten to shoot Mariah. But will that threat cost Nicki Minaj her job on the judging panel?
Earlier this week, an explosive argument broke out on the set of the American Idol auditions between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. While some folks speculated that the blowup was simply done for the sake of ratings, it ended with Nicki Minaj accusing the producers and Mariah of conspiring against her, and even left her threatening to shoot Mariah. Come on, really? As the entire situation seems to be getting more out of hand, we cant but wonder whether or not Nicki will have a job much longer.
She very well could be in danger of losing her spot on the panel, at least accord! ing to o ne Idol source. A show insider spoke to People Magazine recently and revealed: On the day of the fight production staff were the only people in the room, adding now that everyone knows what went down: they are talking about firing Nicki. That is still up for debate. They are worried about how she will act during the live shows.
Uh oh, that does not sound good for Nicki Minaj, however some folks say that she is not completely at fault here. Mariah has been saying little things to jab at Nicki from day one of shooting. Mariah doesnt think Nicki can sing and doesnt think she should be judging folks. Nicki has been taking all of the jabs, but on this particular day she lost it, another source explained.
Sorry folks, but we cant say that we are surprised that these two divas are butting heads already. Why on earth the producers thought two big personalities would work well together is beyond our comprehension.
