Tuned In: Nicki Minaj's 'Right By My Side' Music Video Features Butt Shots, a Love Triangle

(via VEVO) If you're capable of sitting through a splashy cotton candy-colored Pepsi commercial, catch Nicki Minaj's new music video for "Right By My Side," a Benny Boom-directed mini-movie with a very '90s love triangle storyline that fills all the Minaj requisites: booty and scaryface, over and over again.

Also in music news, the deaths of Donna Summer and Chuck Brown have music fans reeling. Chris Brown and Drake are getting called out for dissing Rihanna. Mark Ronson is pissed that a Village Voice writer implied Amy Winehouse was too distracted by Adele's meteoric rise to focus on her own album. The news is kind of bleak today, huh?

Nicki Minaj is churning out the music videos at warp speed. Just a few weeks ago, she dropped the booty-heavy video for "Beez in the Trap," followed closely by the impressively vapid bikini alien invasion video for "Starships."

The latest, for her devotion anthem "Right By My Side," features a love triangle plotline in which Nicki's character has to choose between a lover with a lot of money (played by Nas) and one who dresses like a 12-year-old (played by the ever-mature Chris Brown, who is featured in the song).

As per usual in Minaj's videos, the rapper's sizable rear plays a major role as well. They got really creative with this one.

Also making appearances: Christian Louboutin shoe porn, some truly ugly leopard print fingerless gloves, and Nicki's favorite monster face, on repeat.

Mark Ronson is furious that a Village Voice writer made it seem as if he'd claimed Amy Winehouse had felt threatened by fellow British chanteuse Adele.

Ronson was quoted as saying, "I think that the Adele thing had Amy freaked out. She liked her, but Adele's success was making Amy feel upset, competitive, restless. Anyway, we lost touch briefly. And before she and I could really start the process of beginning a new album it was too late."

The producer and musician quickly took to Facebook to clear up his comments:

Meanwhile, Chris Brown is working hard at being a good person: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs' new music video for "American Dream Part II" has 100% less gratuitous butt than Nicki Minaj's, but it's still worth viewing:
