Minaj concert dates still in limbo

Live Nation is still working with rapper Nicki Minaj to reschedule her tour dates in Australia and New Zealand for 2012, the tour promoter says.

Minaj's Pink Friday: Reloaded tour was due to go on sale on Friday but on Wednesday Minaj sent a message on Twitter to her fans - who she calls "Barbz" - saying she had to postpone the tour due to some "secret" but exciting news.

"Barbz, I now have 2 start the Fall tour a bit later than originally planned. I will now END the tour where I was originally planning 2 BEGIN," she tweeted.

In a statement Live Nation announced the tour dates will now take place in November and December.

"We are currently working with Nicki to finalise the routing for her rescheduled Australian & New Zealand dates, and expect to be announcing details of the tour itinerary and the on-sale dates shortly," the statement read.

Live Nation apologised to the pop star's fans for the delay but assured them she would be touring in 2012.
