Minaj postpones Australian tour

Rapper Nicki Minaj has postponed a series of tour dates this year, including her tour to Australia.

The pop star was also due to tour France, Holland, Switzerland and Belgium from October, but she has been forced to rejig the live shows in order to accommodate a secret project.

In a series of Twitter posts on Wednesday, Minaj, addressing her fans as 'Barbz', writes, "Barbz, I now have 2 (sic) start the Fall tour a bit later than originally planned. I will now END the tour where I was originally planning 2 BEGIN...

"Thank you for your patience... Sorry for any inconvenience my darlingz (sic). When the barbz find out 'why' I'm starting the fall tour a bit later, they will be VERY happy. secretgang".

A spokesperson for Minaj's touring company in Australia, Live Nation, confirmed the rescheduling but said final dates are still being locked in, with an announcement expected on Friday.
