E! confirms Nicki Minaj TV specials

Nicki Minaj isnt getting an entire reality series devoted to her, but fans of the Starships rapper will still get a look into her life thanks to a series of specials on E!.

E! News confirmed Thursday that Minaj will get three specials that will air in November. The network did not say when the specials will air, but promised that more details will be coming soon.

The network did say that the specials will provide fans with an intimate look into the new American Idol judges personal and professional life. They will include never-before-seen footage.

The specials will air before Idols 12th season premieres on Fox. Minaj will be joined at the judges table by Keith Urban, Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey.

Rumors about a Minaj reality series started earlier this week when she spoke to Perez Hilton at her perfume launch in New York. She said that she was considering a reality series. Later, Perez Hiltons sources confirmed that she was working on a project with E!.

I thought I'd never do something like that, not saying I am still. I'm still considering. But, I will say that I find the more people see, is the more they understand, and then it's the more they like you, she told Hilton.

This actually isnt the first time the Pink Friday rapper has let the cameras in on her life. The New York Daily News reported that she worked with MTV in 2010 for My Time Now.
