Nicki Minaj 'Not Losing Sleep' Over Lil Kim Beef
Nicki Minaj features on the front cover of the latest issue of VIBE magazine and, amongst reflecting on her career path so far, appears to have some veiled comments for Lil Kim.
The first lady of Young Money poses with orange hair and a diamond tiara alongside the eyebrow-raising coverline 'Nicki Minaj: Notorious K.I.N.G.' on the March issue of the magazine - and that isn't the only reference to Kimmy.
Talking about balancing the aggression needed to stay on top of the rap game while keeping regard for other people's feelings, Minaj says: "I find that people in this business who walk around getting their feelings hurt don't deserve to be in the business. So I really don't lose sleep over it."
"The people I work with the best are people who understand that there are gonna be moments in this game where an artist is probably going to passionately express themselves and those things shouldn't be taken personal."
The comments particularly resonate with the long-running Nicki/Kim beef, originally driven by the Queen B's accusations an up-and-coming Nic was both biting her style and sending subliminal disses to boost her profile.
"I think when people understand that, they'll never get their feelings hurt," Nicki continued. "And on the other side of that, I am very sensitive to people's feelings. So if I see I'm hurting someone's feelings by being straight up, I would rather not work with them."
