Nicki Minaj to perform at NBA All-Star game

Nicki Minaj, Pitbull and Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo will all appear at the NBA All-Star weekend in Orlando, Florida.

'Super Bass' singer Nicki will lead the basketball extravaganza on February 26 with a medley of her hits during the All-Star Game introductions.

The appearance will be one of her first since her controversial performance during the Super Bowl, which included dancing priests, an exorcism and levitation and stirred much controversy.

Nicki yesterday (16.02.12) clarified her performance was part of a movie she is writing.

She told Billboard.com: "You know how people write plays and movies? That's what I did. I wrote that and I gave the world a tiny little preview of what was to come."

Meanwhile, at the All-Star weekend Mary J. Blige will sing the US national anthem, while Pitbull and Nayer will perform during the half-time show.

The game will round off a weekend of all-star action, with celebrities including Common and Ne-Yo participating in a celebrity basketball game on February 24, and a pre show concert featuring will.i.am and Flo Rida, performing their tracks 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)' and 'Good Feeling' respectively.
