For those who thought Nicki Minaj had gone totally popcorn after dropping the Katy Perry-esque track, Starships, her latest single Roman Reloaded featuring Lil Wayne, may prove the Queens artist is still somewhat sticking to her roots. But with little over a month left before she drops her highly anticipated sophomore LP, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, on April 3, the jury may still be out.

MTV News recently caught up with Harajuku Barbie in between her All-Star Game performance in Orlando on Sunday (February 26) and got the 411 on her plans with Pink Friday part deux. "That's just a preview of what's to come on the album, said Nicki of her more traditional second single, Roman Reloaded. I know what people need right now."

Minaj promises fireworks when her album hits stores next month, and said the significance of this album will be felt across genres. "April 3 is gonna be a doozy. It's gonna be crazy," said Nicki. "It's gonna be important for just Hip-Hop culture and pop culture. It's gonna be very big."

On Thursday (March 1), the Young Money mistress unveiled the colorful cover artforPink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
