Nicki Minaj, other Young Money acts pulled from Hot 97 Summer Jam after DJ slams Starships (Video)

Nicki Minaj was supposed to perform her hits before a packed crowd at Hot 97s Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey Sunday night, but she and other Young Money acts were suddenly pulled after Lil Wayne heard a DJ diss Minajs Starships.

Billboard reports that Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg was heard calling Minajs latest hit single wack before he introduced rapper Kendrick Lamar to the crowd earlier that day. Shortly thereafter, Lil Wayne suddenly tweeted, Young Money aint doing summer jam.

According to Fuse.tv, Minaj confirmed that she was being pulled. I go above and beyond for my fans, she tweeted, But won't ever go against wayne's word. What he says, goes.

The Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded singer then went on a Twitter rant, telling one fan, Lawd it's not about WHAT he said, u don't invite some1 to perform, use their name to sell then publicly disrespect. She later wrote, I'd like to thank the staff @ philly & boston summer jams for treating their guests w/respect! Had a blast.

Rosenberg himself weighed in on the situation, tweeting, Tonight just got interesting g.

Tyga was the only Young Money act to perform Sunday night, probably because he had an earlier set and didnt get word about the feud yet. Minaj had been set to perform at 9:30pm.

The other Hot 97 DJs got into the feud as well, making sure that they werent playing any Young Money songs between acts.
