Nicki Minaj Scammed Out Of $100,000 By Film Producer
Rapper Nicki Minaj has reportedly been scammed out of a whopping $100,000 by a producer that was hired to help produce her vid for 'Pound The Alarm'.
And that's not all - the thief is apparently a local man in her home country of Trinidad. Scandalous!
According to Star magazine, the feisty female has been ripped off by the film producer, named Ellis Briggs, after she hired him to help on the set of her video. Local reports say that Ellis took the cash without delivering any of the promised services, creating an absolute nightmare for all involved.
Police have since confirmed that a report has been filed by London Alley Entertainment, which shot and produced the hit vid.
However, the man in question has since denied everything and has in fact turned the tables onto Nicki's team, saying that her production team actually owes him $19,000 for his services and has even gone as far as to say that the negative press surrounding the alleged incident has in fact compromised his ability to get further work.
Ohhh dear. Who's telling the truth??
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj nearly had a repeat of her '2011 nip slip' on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The rapper, who known for her wearing very little clothing, appeared on the US talk show to perform new single 'Pound The Alarm'.
Minaj certainly left an impression as she performed semi-topless in a nude ensemble but she was saved from any embarrassment by some carefully placed tit tape. Ohh, lucky!
