Nicki Minaj dresses as the Michelin Man for AMAs performance

We love Nicki Minaj for her displays of outrageous fashion, but we have to say we did giggle a bit at her latest sartorial choice.

Nicki Minaj rocked up for her performance at this year's AMAs looking as though she was challenging the Michelin Man.

We saw the pictures, spat our tea everywhere and just had to share.

We're not sure whether Nicki was intentionally dressing a! s the motoring icon, but she sure looks like him.

Nicki Minaj's red carpet outfit was slightly less outrageous. In fact, by the singer's standards it was positively tame.

Nicki donned a lime green fishtail gown for her red carpet appearance and looked stunning. She even ditched her pink wig for the occasion.

The role's proving a bit problematic for her, however, and she's struggling with having to turn up to work on time.

She recently revealed: "I'm not really used to having to show up somewhere at a specific time. I kinda been my own boss for a few years, so this is like adding discipline back in my life. This is adding that strict regime of having to do something. Everybody's affected by what I do."
